AirAsia adds another flight from Hua Hin

AirAsia has filed a request to open more direct flights between Hua Hin-Chiang Mai from this November to support the Hua Hin Recharge project.

On the morning of October 8, Hua Hin Today newspaper has been informed by Mr. Udorn Olson, an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Transport that another flight operating between Hua Hin and Chiang Mai will operate from November.

This is in addition to the flights which are set to resume on October 15.

The new flight will initially operate from October 31 to November 28.

The flight FD3900 Chiang Mai – Hua Hin will depart Chiang Mai 17.40, arriving Hua Hin at 19.00, while flight FD 3901 Hua Hin – Chiang Mai departing from Hua Hin at 19.30 arriving in Chiang Mai at 8:50 p.m. every Friday and Sunday.

And it is expected that AirAsia will soon restart the Hua Hin – Udon Thani flights to connect tourism in the upper Northeast which used to have direct twice weekly flights but the route had to be temporarily stopped due to the COVID-19 situation.

The resumption of the flights, and the addition of the extra evening flight between Hua Hin and Chiang Mai are another positive factor in for the Hua Hin Recharge campaign, Mr Udorn said.
